The inspiration for this collection lies at the very heart of the ALKÉ brand, drawing from the mythological universe of Ancient Greece. « ALKÉ » (Ἀλκή in Ancient Greek) is a spirit, an abstract embodiment of courage and combat strength that accompanies warriors.
This spirit has been expressed through various symbols, notably the Aegis, the emblematic attribute of the Greek goddess Athena. Symbolizing divine protection and military power, it is described in ancient texts and depicted in art as a protective garment or a shield, often bearing a Gorgoneion at its center.
